

Previously an intimate concert on Northwestern University's campus, the all-new SONGWRITERS IN (VIRTUAL) CONCERT is the closing celebration of the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project. Featuring songs written during the weeklong intensive, this all-genre concert showcases some of the most exciting writers of today. The highly competitive international program invites around a dozen songwriters or songwriting teams to spend a week working with award-winning professional master teachers and honors the legacy of Johnny Mercer by fostering the tradition of mentorship that Johnny was committed to throughout his career. Airing at the end of the summer, the closing concert is presented free of charge as we aim to reach audiences around the world.
